Filipina designer Kirsten Regalado to dress Miss Iceland and Miss Mauritius for Miss Universe 2018

Filipina designer Kirsten Regalado will showcase her designs for Miss Iceland and Miss Mauritius for the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.

Set to be held in Thailand this December, the 67th edition of the most prestigious pageant in the world will surely captivate the hearts of pageant fans.

Throughout the years, Miss Universe or even other pageants has played a great part in showcasing the beauty and wit of Pinays.

Filipino pageant fans are definitely looking forward for this every year and support for the one representing the Philippines is always overwhelming.

Apparently, Pinay beauty queens are not only those who are doing a great job in Miss Universe because behind the stage there is also a Filipino designer whose designs leave a fabulous mark.

Kirsten Regalado is one of the people who works hard for the success of the pageant.

She is the designer of the national costumes of Miss Iceland Katrin Lea Elenudottir and Miss Mauritius Varsha Ragoobarsing, based on the report of UNTV News and Rescue.

According to Regalado, this year’s Miss Universe is special for her because it is her 10th year anniversary in designing for beauty queens around the world.

“She is among the best fashion designers, she’s an icon in the fashion world and for her to design my final dress, it’s an honor,” Miss Mauritius said.

The Filipino-American, Florida-based designer shared that she gets her inspiration in designing fabulous gowns from the nature.

“I work with nature. I believe that God is our original fashion designer. It’s just the beauty around us,” she shared.

Kirsten Regalado added that those beauty queens who wore her designs became  part of her family, based on the report.
